We also have an extended day option that ends at 3:15 PM.
This program is
taught by a lead teacher and an assistant and has a class size of 12 children.
Children must be at least two years, six months and no older than three years
seven months by September 1st of the school year.
Kindergarten
Three or five mornings a week, 8:30 AM-12:00 PM.
We also have an extended day option that ends at 3:15 PM, except on Thursdays where we dismiss at 2PM.
There are two kindergarten classrooms, both with a lead teacher and an assistant teacher.
Children’s ages range from 3.5 – 6 years old.
Children must be three years six months by September 1 of the school year.
Grade One
Mon-Wed & Fri 8:30-3:15 PM, Thursdays 8:30-2:00
Children entering Grade One should be six by June 1 of the school year.
Children that apply to Grade
One at The Madison Waldorf School will be evaluated by the faculty for grade
school readiness.
Grades Two through Five
Mon-Wed & Fri 8:30-3:15 PM, Thursdays 8:30-2:00
The child is evaluated for class placement by the school, depending on age, grades completed and the academic, developmental and social progress of the child.
Grades Four and Five are combined together.
Parent and Toddler Playgroup
Five mornings a week, 9-11 AM.
This
program is taught by a playgroup leader and is for parents and children, ages
0-4 years.
There is a separate application process for this program.
